Eleven days in Morocco, riding with Charley Boorman
In May 2027 we ride out of Marrakech with Charley Boorman for eleven days: over the foothills of the High Atlas, across the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, down the Ziz Valley and into the Sahara at Erg Chebbi. Then we come home the long way, through the Todra Gorge, the Dadès Valley and the earthen ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, and over the Tizi n'Tichka to finish at La Mamounia.
Charley rode around the world in Long Way Round and down the length of Africa in Long Way Down, and Morocco is a country he keeps coming back to. On this tour he is with the group from the welcome dinner in the medina to the farewell dinner at La Mamounia: every riding day, every meal, every story.
Around 1,500 kilometres, seven riding days, a free day in Marrakech with Charley and a day off the motorcycle in the dunes. Mountains and desert in a single trip, with the right person out in front.

Why this one is different
- Charley rides with you. Eleven days, not a cameo. Charley leads the group from Marrakech to the Sahara and back.
- Twelve riders. Small enough that everyone gets their time on the road with Charley.
- Mountains and desert in one trip. High Atlas, Middle Atlas, the Ziz Valley, the Sahara and the great passes of the south.
- A Sahara day off the motorcycle. Sunrise on the dunes of Erg Chebbi, a 4x4 or camel excursion and dinner at a Berber camp under the stars.
- A day in Marrakech with Charley. The medina and the souks on foot, and a Moroccan culinary experience hosted with Charley.
- Hotels chosen for the ride. A medina riad, a lakeside hotel, a desert riad at Erg Chebbi and a last night at La Mamounia.
- Our own BMW Motorrad fleet. Luggage, helmet and gloves included, and a support van carrying your bags so you ride unloaded.
- We are a licensed travel agency. REVV Travel is an ACAVE member and the official operator of Charley Boorman's Royal Atlas Tour.
